Insteading Giveaway – February 2019

One of the best ways to live life a little more sufficiently is to take advantage of all the wild plants that are sometimes right in our own backyards. In the Pacific Northwest, you may be familiar with wild edible mushrooms, while in the Eastern United States you may be more familiar with a variety of edible wildflowers. Regardless of where you live, there are always plants just waiting to be found for the taking! Respectfully, of course.

For this month’s contest, we’re giving away a wild edibles foraging kit including The Forager’s Harvest Handbook, a foraging basket, a foraging knife, bamboo work gloves, and pruning shears.

Want to learn more about how to get started with foraging? Check out our articles on foraging for wild berries and mushroom hunting.

  1. I have been wanting one of these for a while. I garden and we water chickens with many buckets laying out everywhere to catch the rainwater right now. It would be nice to have it all in a convenient barrel. Thanks for the opportunity.

  2. I really appreciate your kindness in letting me enter your giveaway. I have been looking at the all of the ideas for making me a rain barrel but living way out in the country doesn’t have very many choices if any for these types of barrels.. Thanks again for your offer.

  3. I would Love this. I try to go green every way possible. I sotra live off the grid and this would be so much help with my garden and animals
